In a TEDx Iowa City talk, Dr. Terry Wahls talks about being diagnosed with MS, and her journey of discovering the power of nutrition. After her diagnosis, she began her research on MS by looking at all the latest research on Huntington’s, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, and natural diets around the world that exceed the RDA’s 2 to 10 fold.
Dr. Wahls was using a wheelchair and unable to sit normally unless in a “zero gravity” chair. Near the most serious part of her illness she could barely walk, and was progressively getting worse. She was being treated at the Cleveland Clinic and had a diagnosis of Secondary Progressive MS.
…….
Her dietary changes resulted in the reversal of her symptoms, she now walks and talks normally, rides a bicycle, and has nearly normal physical activity..
This talk mentions:
Fish oil, creatine, co-enzyme Q 10, Myelin, Vitamins B1, B9, B12, Omega 3 Fatty Acids, Iodine, Neurotransmitters, Sulfur, B6, Antioxidants, and a natural diet plan that includes 3 cups of sulfur rich vegetables, 3 cups of green leaves, 3 cups of bright color, grass fed meats, organ meat, and seaweed.

PLEASE GIVE ME SOME INFO ON THE DR WAHLS DIET.
THANK YOU
Hi Shane. There is a lot of info in the video on her diet, but for more specifics you should go to her website where a lot of additional information is available. I haven’t gone through it in a while, but I think they also had a “feedback” section from people who are trying the plan to talk about what has worked for them.
Best regards, Brad

I believe what Dr. Wahls went thourgh is true to the reason that there are so many things happening to people medically because of diet. I am a mother of two girls. One is ADHD and has asthma. I have allergies and I am possibly ADHD as well. I feel that a lot of the time the diet has a huge role in effecting our ADHD symptoms. I think that when we changed our diet that her asthma is not around as often, and her ADHD symptoms are better.I have so many mom friends that their kids are ADHD or Asberburgs or autistic or have sever food allergies to peanuts and/or eggs. So many people with a gluten allergy. I would like to see a huge food revolution in this country to help us all stop all these ailments. Espcially coming from someone who sees the results of what food can do to change ones Heath.
