The Future of Food chronicles the path from family to factory farms and GMO foods and has been widely distributed as part of the international anti-GMO grassroots activist movements.  It covers in some detail the debate between sustainable and industrial agriculture and the fight for accurate food labeling of GMO food worldwide.  Can sustainable and permaculture methods provide a healthy food supply for everyone on a zero footprint, or is large agro the answer to the worlds food needs?

The film has strong positive reviews from sources as diverse as the Soil Association, the New York Times, and the Christian Science Monitor.

You can watch the full length video on the Future of Food website, or watch it on Netflix Watch Instant streaming, The Future of Food (2004)

Hi – thanks for the comment. Most of the movies I post here are free to stream with a Netflix subscription or on the original site of the creators.

BTW – Your blog at http://bettermebetterworld.blogspot.com/ looks really cool. Some great project ideas.
